Dr. Steven Tinsley
Vice President of Workforce Education and Strategic Partnerships

Dr. Tinsley is the Vice President of Workforce Education and Strategic Partnerships, where he assumes a pivotal role in guiding the workforce education initiatives at the College. His responsibilities include overseeing Career and Technical Education Support, Workforce and Continuing Education, Community and Adult Education, as well as Grants and Sponsored Programs. Additionally, Dr. Tinsley spearheads the cultivation of strategic alliances with both public and private sector entities associated with the College.

With experience spanning over two decades, Dr. Tinsley has been a leader in advancing workforce and economic development programs in multiple locations including Gary, IN, Hammond, IN, and Oakland Park, FL and has served in leadership roles for the State of Indiana and Broward County, FL. Dr. Tinsley has served in key positions on the Broward County Workforce Development Board as well as the Broward County Schools Career, Technical, Adult and Community Education (CTACE) Advisory Board.

Dr. Tinsley is an adjunct faculty member for the University of West Florida, where he teaches courses in Public Administration, Public Policy and Leadership. Dr Tinsley has also served as an adjunct faculty member for Indiana University and Florida Atlantic University.

Dr. Tinsley earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University before successfully completing his Ph.D. in Public Administration at Florida Atlantic University in 2015.
