The Institute of Public Safety (IPS) Testing Center administers examinations for applicants pursuing careers in Law Enforcement, Corrections and Police Service Aide positions in cooperation with the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association.
The Institute of Public Safety (IPS) Criminal Justice Testing Center located at Broward College Central Campus is a regional assessment center serving applicants pursuing a law enforcement or corrections career.
The IPS Testing Center is not a hiring agency. We are a regional selection center for those who wish to apply in law enforcement or corrections. Tests administered at IPS comply with the State of Florida's Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission (CJSTC) and the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association standards.
How to get started in your Law Enforcement career:
It is the applicant's responsibility to maintain their Medical Clearance Forms, as the Testing Center does not make copies. A COPY of the form is required for EACH attempt of the PAT, PAT Practice and SWIM.
CJBAT test results prior to August 2018, can be found on the ATMS FDLE site. Applicants are not to contact the FDLE for test results.

Medical Clearance Form.pdf
The Medical Clearance Form is valid 6 months from date of medical examination. Invalid or expired forms will not be accpeted.
The CJSTC 75B is no longer a valid FDLE form and will not be accepted.
