Broward College and Broward County have established a scholarship program for students to receive additional financial support. The Bridge Scholarship provides gap funding assistance for new and current students who receive financial aid but still need remaining assistance toward their tuition.

Eligibility

Graduated from a Broward County public high school with at least a 2.5 unweighted GPA

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), be Pell Grant eligible, or have a family income of less than $84,000

Must be enrolled in nine credit hours and a degree-seeking program

Have a payment gap between tuition and fees, and any non-loan based financial aid
