Voucher for Excellence Form

A BRACE Advisor or Guidance Counselor may nominate 2 students per year, per Broward County Public School. The Voucher of Excellence covers the full cost of tuition at Broward College up to 64 credits for up to 30 credits per academic year - a value of over $7,500.00. Please nominate students who have chosen Broward College as their first-choice college and plan to study full-time.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  • Apply to Broward College and declare a major.
  • Submit proof of high school graduation to the Office of Admissions with a minimum 3.0 unweighted high school GPA.
  • Submit all required documents to prove Florida residency for tuition purposes to the Office of Admissions.
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), be eligible to receive federal financial aid, and clear all Red Flags.
  • Attend a mandatory orientation session hosted at Broward College by Student Financial Services.
    Students selected to receive the award will receive an email detailing the location, date, and time of the orientation session.
  • Maintain full-time status: 12 credits per term (Fall and Spring).

Note: Nominees are only eligible to receive one Broward Voucher.
