Graduation and Commencement are two separate functions and have separate processes and deadlines. You do not need to apply to graduate to receive your degree and diploma; however, we highly suggest doing a Grad Check with Academic Advising.  You do not have to physically attend the commencement ceremony to receive your degree.

  • Eligible Graduates will receive an email with commencement day details in their Broward College email account by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
  • Graduates must be fully qualified to graduate and pick up their tickets by Monday, November 17, 2025, if they intend to participate in the ceremony.
  • The deadline to ensure your eligibility for Fall degree conferral is December 10, 2025.
