How to Submit Your Work

Online Submissions Information: Instructions (Please Read These Carefully)

For your work to be considered, you must include the following information in your email:

Name
Email address (one that you check regularly)
Telephone number
Student ID
Number of credits you are taking this semester
Campus where you take most of your classes
Title of work(s) submitted. If you don't title your work and it is chosen for publication, the editors will title it.
Medium (for art)
Brief Bio telling us about yourself: for examples, see a recent issue of P'an Ku.

Poetry and Prose

Submit a portfolio of your work as attached documents. Portfolios are limited to 15 total pieces. No single work should exceed 2,000 words. Poetry and Prose portfolio submissions should be in 12 point font. Prose should be double-spaced. Poetry should be single-spaced.

All submissions must be emailed as an attached document; do not include work in the body of the email or as a link to any kind of account or drive.

Artwork, Photography, Graphic Art

Submit a portfolio of artwork in any medium. Portfolios are limited to 15 total pieces. Images should be in JPG or TIFF format, at least 300 DPI, CMYK (not RGB). If you cannot submit in this format, simply take a shot with your cellphone camera. If your work is accepted for publication, we will arrange for a photographer to reshoot your work.

Film

Submit a short film up to 5 minutes long. All film styles welcome, and there is no limit to the number of films you may submit. Films chosen for publication will be featured on Panku Video.

Panku Video is a YouTube channel and therefore, submissions must conform to YouTube's community guidelines.

If your work is selected for the magazine, we will notify you within five weeks after the submission deadline.

Troubleshooting Note

If you cannot submit and/or get an error message when using your BC email, please use your personal email. Also, if you have trouble submitting using Firefox, use another browser. Hardcopies are no longer accepted. All submissions reviewed strictly online.
