College Read (two students reading books outside)

College Read is a student-centered and community-building initiative that supports student success through engagement with reading at Broward College. College Read is helmed by a committee made up of a diverse group of faculty, administrators, and staff from all college campuses. The committee aims to support student success through diversity and inclusion through its book selection and events programming. Participation is promoted to and encouraged throughout different pathways to create an integrated community of practice.

BC professors who would like to teach with the College Read book can provide books to their classes free of charge while supplies last. Faculty interested in receiving information and desk copies please submit this request form or email College Read at
