Stop Campus Hazing Act

Transparency Report

In accordance with the Federal Stop Campus Hazing Act (S.2901, H.R. 5646; Public Law No. 118-173), Broward College is committed to transparency and accountability in addressing hazing misconduct as defined under Section 1006.63, Florida Statutes. As part of this commitment, the College publishes a report summarizing findings of responsibility for hazing incidents involving recognized student organizations.

The report includes the following information:
  • Name of the organization
  • Date(s) of the hazing incident(s)
  • Date the incident was reported
  • Duration of the investigation
  • Date of the responsible finding
  • Date the decision was issued
  • Policy violation(s) for which the organization was found responsible
  • Sanctions imposed
  • General description of the hazing incident(s)

Please note that the report does not include:

  • Allegations of hazing that did not result in a finding of responsibility.
  • Cases involving student organizations are currently under investigation or pending conduct proceedings.
  • Any personally identifiable information of individual students involved in the misconduct.

July 1 - November 3, 2025

Reporting Period Statement: No recognized student organizations were found responsible for any reported hazing incidents during the specified reporting period.
