Broward College recognizes learning can be obtained through various means and wants to help you save time & money!
Credit for Prior Learning at Broward College allows you the opportunity to earn college credits for the knowledge and skills you've acquired while in high school, technical college, at work, or other life experiences.
Through grant funding, CLEP and Prior Learning Assessment fees may be covered to qualifying students who reside in the following zip codes: 33311, 33313, 33319, 33309, 33069, and 33023. For additional information, please complete the application form.

Prior Learning Assessment Program
Developed primarily for working adults, is designed to recognize the academic value of what students have learned through experiences outside the college classroom.
Military Training
Military educational experiences, courses, and training may be eligible for credit.
Broward County High School Career and Technical Educational Programs and Florida Department of Education Career Certificates and Apprenticeship Programs
Students who complete a Career and Technical Education program or an FLDOE Apprenticeship may qualify for college credits toward an aligned Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Associate of Science (AS) degree program.

Standardized Credit-by-Exams
