Our mission is to offer extensive support and opportunities to individuals driven to make a positive impact in the healthcare field, irrespective of their backgrounds. HCOP serves as your gateway to a rewarding career by providing guidance, resources, and mentorship to assist you on your journey toward becoming a healthcare professional.
Eligibility
Students currently enrolled in high school (11th and 12th grade only)
Students with a 2.5 GPA or greater
Must be a citizen, non-citizen national of the United States, an individual lawfully admitted for permanent residence to the United States
Benefits
Students will get paid $15 an hour for the 6-week program
Free transportation to Broward College
Training in the Health Science Simulation Center
Assistance with financial aid and college enrollment procedures.
Academic support services, academic enrichment, and skill development.
Monthly meetings/workshops focused on financial aid planning, health disparities, stress management, public health, etc

Students currently in the health science pathway but not yet admitted to a Limited Access program.
Eligibility
Broward College students interested in a Health Science Limited Access Program.
Students with a 2.5 GPA or greater
Must be a citizen, non-citizen national of the United States, an individual lawfully admitted for permanent residence to the United States
Benefits
Students will get paid $15 an hour for a 4-6 week virtual course.
Formal and informal opportunities for counseling, mentoring, and group support.
Assistance and guidance towards a limited access program
Academic support services, academic enrichment, and skill development.
Monthly meetings/workshops focused on financial aid planning, health disparities, and stress management.
