The Mission of Seahawk Outreach Services (SOS) is to provide wrap-around services and holistic support to students by connecting them to key campus resources and referring them to community organizations. The goal of SOS is to help reduce food and housing insecurities, stress/mental health challenges, homelessness, and financial obstacles among our student population.

The Food and Hygiene Items Distribution Program and Seahawk Marketplace, Free Food Pantry provide food (including fresh fruits and vegetables) and hygiene items to Broward College students in need.
If you would like to apply for the distribution program, please complete the request form below. If you are selected, you will receive an email confirming your pickup date(s), and instructions to follow on distribution day.
This is a drive-thru event. If you do not have transportation, please indicate this on the request form and a team member will contact you regarding a free Lyft ride (first come, first served until funds are exhausted-must be currently enrolled or have been enrolled in the past two semesters).

Broward College has partnered with Lyft to assist students that are experiencing transportation challenges. Eligible students can receive Lyft ride credits that will be accessible through their Lyft mobile app.

Please be advised there is a limited number of codes for each month/semester and eligible students will be provided Lyft codes on a first come first serve basis. Students will be notified via Broward College email.

If you would like to borrow a laptop, you must meet the following criteria:Note: Continuing Education, Non-degree, Non-credit, and Dual Enrollment Students are NOT eligible

Transportation:We are pleased to announce My College Doctor, the newest benefit offered to our currently enrolled students and their dependents. All Broward College students taking classes this semester, and their spouses or children under twenty-six years of age will be provided with 24/7/365 premium virtual healthcare with access to a board-certified physician (doctors and dermatologists) anywhere, anytime.
