Your A.A. or A.S. from Broward College guarantees you transfer into any Florida university bachelor program to continue your education. You’ll save thousands in tuition by starting at Broward College.

Associate of Arts in Teacher Education (2 + 2)

If you’re planning on getting a bachelor’s degree, then the Associate of Arts (AA) in Teacher Education is for you. Complete a general AA degree in Teacher Education and transition into any of the five Bachelor of Science degrees in Education at Broward College. Students may also transfer to any Bachelor program at another institution in the state of Florida.

Associate of Science

Find a rewarding career in the early childhood field. Career opportunities include teaching pre-school aged children, developing learning environments, supervising children’s programs, or owning a child care facility.

The Associate of Science degree combines classroom and field experiences to give students the necessary skills and experience for success in early childhood education. Coursework provides students the ability to design an effective educational curriculum, manage children in a classroom setting, supervise early childhood personnel, and efficiently administer business operations.

AS in Early Childhood Education

Education Degrees for the student considering teaching as a career, with no prior experience, we offer a variety of specialized degree programs: 

  • BS in Exceptional Student Education 
  • BS in High School Biology Grades 6-12 
  • BS in Middle Grades Mathematics Grades 5-9
  • BS in High School Mathematics Grades 6-12 

BS in Education

The EPI program is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in any field other than education. This 21-hour online program prepares second-career students to enter the classroom. Upon completion of the programs, graduates must pass a specific subject area exam in order to be eligible to teach the subject of their choice.

Educator Preparation Institute (EPI)

If you currently hold a Temporary Educator’s Certificate or are looking to renew your Professional Educator's Certificate, you can register for the necessary courses with Broward College in order to obtain your Professional Teaching Certificate.
